Psychology Undergraduate Program
Transfer & AP Credit

The majority of transfer is handled by the Admissions office when a student is admitted to UIC. Any Psychology course that does not automatically transfer over into the correct position on the DARS report may be assessed by the Psychology advisor to see if it meets a Psychology requirment or Psychology elective for the major, so the DARS can be updated. Contact the advisor directly to initiate this process and please have a course description of the specific course ready for assessment. This should be available from the prior college or university's web catalog. If the description provided is not detailed enough, you may be required to also provide a syllabus. Transfer credit for non-Psychology courses cannot be assessed by the Psychology advisor-- please contact LAS for assistance for non-Psychology coursework.

UIC Transfer Information
