INFORMATIONAL WORKSHOPS
Who: These discussions are led by the Psychology Undergraduate Advisors, and may include a guest speaker. All psychology majors are encouraged to attend. Students will be notified via the Psychology Major ListServ if attendance is limited an/or an RSVP is required.
What: Presentations or discussions on particular topics of concern for psychology undergraduates.
When: Throughout the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 Semester
Where: TBA
Why: These sessions are designed to help students succeed in the major and after graduation by answering many common questions that undergraduates have (i.e.- How do I know I am registering for the correct courses? How do I apply to graduate school? How do I get involved in research? What can I do with a B.A. in Psychology?). The Department of Psychology at UIC would like all of their students to succeed in life; educating and preparing yourself to succeed in the major is one of the proactive steps that you can take toward this ultimate goal!
